**Are you looking for more than just a shared flat room?** ​In our spacious **8.5-room single-family home** in Buchrain, a new **5-person shared flat** with a lot of space, high living quality, and generous community areas will be created as of 01.07.2026. For the new foundation, we are currently looking for three new roommates. Move-in is possible as of 01.07.2026 or by arrangement. **Who we are** Currently, we, **Valentin (28)** and **Caroline (22)**, two uncomplicated siblings, live here, who are gainfully employed or studying. We are looking forward to building an open, relaxed, and lively shared flat with our future roommates, where both community and privacy have their place. **The rooms & your options** The house offers an extreme amount of space with its total of 8.5 rooms. For the shared flat rooms, four free, bright rooms (13–16 m²) are currently available. ​Since we are not fully utilizing the house with the 5-person shared flat and using the remaining rooms as generous community rooms, three rooms are available for new roommates – a fourth room remains free as an additional room (office, hobby, storage). You have a free choice and can select your room individually. * ​**Room prices (unfurnished):** CHF 900.– to CHF 950.– per month (depending on size) **Costs (all-inclusive rent)** The rent is a genuine all-inclusive rent. Included are: * Heating * Electricity * Water * fast fiber optic internet * household insurance * private liability insurance No additional ancillary costs. **Options** * **Furnishing on request:** Bed, wardrobe, desk, and dresser for an additional CHF 50.–/month. * **Home office / hobby room option:** Additional room can be rented at a low cost for work, projects, or storage. **Note on the pictures:** The rooms are currently being renovated. The work is expected to be completed by the end of June. The currently used room pictures are therefore visualizations that give an impression of the future condition. The rooms will be freshly renovated and handed over ready for occupancy. **Community areas & highlights** * **Heated winter garden (23 m²):** With a large dining table and cozy seating area for shared meals, coffee breaks, or good conversations. * **Separate living room (10 m²):** Directly adjacent to the winter garden with sofa and TV. * **Large kitchen (17 m²):** Fully equipped with oven, steamer, dishwasher, and everything you need for cooking. * **Two bathrooms:** One bathroom with shower, one bathroom with bathtub including shower. * **Generous outdoor area:** A rooftop terrace (60 m²) with seating and beautiful views and a large garden (500 m²) with pergola and seating area. If you enjoy gardening, you are welcome to contribute. **Infrastructure & extras** * Large **laundry room with washing machine** * **Storage room + large freezer** with personal drawers * A **garage parking space** as well as an uncovered **outdoor parking space** can be rented additionally if needed. **Top location & leisure** The house is located in a quiet and green neighborhood in Buchrain with very good connections. **Public transportation** * 5-minute walk to the Buchrain Dorf bus stop * 10-minute walk to Buchrain train station * Lucerne and Rotkreuz can be reached by train in about 10 minutes **Shopping & leisure** The Tschannhof shopping center with Migros, Denner, bakery, and café can be reached in a few minutes.
