Room in a shared flat

*Communal living in Oberi at Friedheimstrasse 29 8404 Winterthur.* Hoi Du! :) A room is becoming available with us. As of 1.8.26 :) We are a large communal shared apartment (WG) in Oberi. In our house, 15 colorful people between the ages of 20 and 47 from 5 nations live together. What sounds like a lot at first is actually not that bad: Many of us are employed or otherwise busy, which is why it rarely gets really crowded - it is mostly rather quiet. We are not a party WG. A cozy and social atmosphere is very important to us. Even though we are easy-going, it is important to us that future roommates are interested in one another and contribute something. However, we are all quite independent, i.e., apart from WG meetings, chores (Ämtlis), and communal cleaning, there are no obligations. We like it relaxed, but still communal. For example, at Christmas we like to organize a Secret Santa with a Christmas dinner or invite people for an Advent window. Often we also just come together spontaneously in the living room to watch "Love is Blind", "Twilight", or a quirky horror movie. Additionally, we are often to be found in the garden, whether grilling, gardening, or simply enjoying the fresh air and sun. Approximately every two months, a WG meeting takes place, where we come together, cook, and talk about all the topics that arise in a shared apartment. We have no visitor rules, as long as all persons behave respectfully. About you: We are looking for an open, friendly, and respectful person who enjoys being in contact with their roommates. You should be able to speak either German or English. Communal areas: In the basement, there is a large kitchen that is connected to the living room and the dining room. Outside, it leads to the garden with a whirlpool, two nice benches, and a fire pit. We have three floors with rooms, which are all about 10 - 14 square meters in size. On each floor, there is a bathroom with WC and shower - it is shared with 5 people. Other: Everyone has a compartment in a refrigerator and a compartment in the shelf for their own food. In the house, there are two washing machines and one dryer. Every week a cleaning person comes, who cleans all bathrooms, the living room, and the kitchen. Therefore, you do not have to worry about it. In the basement, there are two additional "emergency showers" in case you urgently need to shower and all other showers are occupied.
