Room in a shared flat

A spacious room to sublet October and November, furnished or empty, depending on your preference, in a 4-room apartment from which 3 are occupied by flatmates (although very often abroad). The kitchen is big and with balcony, facing directly to a courtyard as the apartment is located in the ground floor. This space is common to use by all tenants in the building and it can be used to host gatherings, bbqs, or anything in your interest.

We are subletting the room only for 2 months since a friend will move in for a long term in the beginning of December.

Although it's located near Langstrasse, it's a very calm area far from the party noises and close to the train station, conveniently located near cafés, restaurants, bars and supermarkets, and a big park. Very well connected to public transport as you find around the corner the bus and tram station 'Bäckerenlage', reaching tram 8 and bus 31.

We look for one person who is easy and calm, independent and respectful of the common spaces with whom we can vibe well, experienced sharing an apartment and who can take care of it as it will be our common home. It is definitely not a party spot but we're happy and open to share moments together if our timeschedules happen to cross, or to host a dinner together from time to time.

We are 3 professional artists working between filmmaking, contemporary art, performance and music, aged between 36 and 50. During the period of the sublet, the apartment will be mainly shared with me, Jonathan (36), working as an independent film director and visual artist between Zurich, Geneva, and Colombia. The other room is occupied by a couple who mainly lives in London and comes occasionally as they both teach at the ZHdK (Zurich university of the Arts). For the period in question, they plan to be in the apartment in the last week of October mainly.
Spoken languages in the flat can be English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and what you bring as well.
