Room in a shared flat

[CH]: Our beautiful old building apartment (123m2) is located on the 3rd floor without an elevator. If the community selects you at the next WG meeting, the smallest WG room and common rooms will be available to you for pleasant coexistence. We look forward to a Flatfox message with your self-description and your ideas about WG life.

The monthly payment of 850CHF is an all-inclusive rent. (For experts: The advertisement is recycled and used for every room, hence the "price increase". Fairness prevails with us, and costs are divided based on square meters). Included are all apartment costs: utilities, operating costs for electricity, internet, hygiene items, etc.
The rental deposit is 2'150CHF.

Your room (not a through-room) is oriented southeast. WiFi, heating, and cable connection are available; otherwise, this is a place of retreat and freedom for your welcome development in coordination with the WG members.

Mobility: Furniture is included. Upon request, the bright and white-themed furnishings (not shown in the photos), consisting of a bed frame, slatted frame, and mattress (each 140cm x 200 cm), desk and chair, as well as a ceiling lamp, can be placed in the cellar room.

For all roommates, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, soap, and toilet paper are available in the shared bathroom, as well as a fully equipped kitchen (included in the utilities). There are two bathrooms in the apartment. A washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, and oven (all replaced in 2021) are located within our apartment, so a trip to the cellar (where the spacious cellar compartment is located) can be avoided.

The house is located very centrally and near the Rhine, yet beautifully quiet and cozy. Your new accommodation has excellent connections to the city center:
via Tram line 1 stop at St. Johannstor, less than 300 meters walking distance;
via Bus line 38 stop at Metzerstrasse, less than 300 meters walking distance;
12 minutes to Bahnhof SBB by tram;
16 minutes to Badischer Bahnhof in Kleinbasel by tram.

... and to coffee shops and local food retailers:
directly around the corner
or 650 meters at Burgenfelder Platz at the supermarkets Denner, Migros, and Coop, or two intersections further at Aldi Suisse.
The Avia gas station at the nearby Kannenfelder Park is also open on Sundays.

... and to the University of Basel
Nearby are the Biotechnological Center, the Departments of Chemistry and Physics, the Uni-Library, Botanical Garden, etc.

The WG has found itself: Your three roommates enjoy living and working here, sometimes also from a home office.
We are:

Jana (~35): Works in administration. She most enjoys spending time with friends and loves to cook.

Katharina (~30): I am Katharina, a doctor. In my free time, I like to be active in sports. In the WG, I appreciate a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and enjoy doing something together every now and then – whether it's a cooking evening, a game night, or just a nice conversation in the kitchen. At the same time, however, I also find it nice to have an evening to myself. A good togetherness, in which everyone has their space and we still feel comfortable, is important to me.

Diego (~30): I am a product and project manager and a very active person. I have been in Basel since April and love the city so much because of its diversity :) On weekends, I am often in the Allgäu and otherwise travel a lot.

And now we are looking for you as a nice, open-minded new roommate. You are cordially invited to move in on 01.08.2026. All costs - including Bebbisagg fees - are included in the rent. We keep the apartment clean using a cleaning plan app. Note: A locking system is present, which is why a loss of key unfortunately costs approx. 5'000.00 CHF in accordance with house rules (liability insurance with a key loss clause makes this easier).
