Room in a shared flat

In a shared flat with working professionals in Birmensdorf, a large furnished room (approx. 25m2) in a charming half-timbered house is becoming available. Move-in date: 04.10.2026. The house is located in a quiet and village-like setting, but is nonetheless very well connected to the city. The "Untere Risi" bus stop is reachable in 2 minutes on foot, and from there, you are at Triemli in 10 minutes. Birmensdorf station is also reachable within a few minutes' walk, and you are quickly at Zürich HB.

The apartment is very spacious. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a large dining area, two bathrooms, a balcony, as well as a private laundry room. The common rooms are cleaned once a week. Even though the room is under the roof, it cools down well again at night in the summer because you can create a draft and the forest is quite close.

You will live with 5 working professionals (2 women, 3 men), who all work at the Eidge. Forschungsanstalt für Wald, Schnee und Landschaft and are thus in their late 20s or early 30s. The WG constellation is currently quite international. Generally, it is a rather quiet and functional way of living together. On weekends, some roommates are frequently out and about.

The move-in process is very uncomplicated for you. There are no long WG castings with selection processes. First comes first serves. However, please do introduce yourself a little in a message so that we can get an impression of you. Then you could come by quite soon to take another look at everything.
