Room in a shared flat in Weissenbühl – looking for new flatmate(s)

Since my two current flatmates are unfortunately moving out, I am looking for one or two new people.

Our apartment is beautifully located in Weissenbühl in Bern. It is very bright, spacious and cozy – with many plants and everything one needs for living. There is already quite a lot of material in the kitchen and otherwise the apartment is already well-furnished. At the same time, I would find it nice if we design the shared rooms together and make it our shared home.

Regarding the distribution:
If one person moves in and we live as a pair, the rent is approx. CHF 900.– per person and we will continue to have a shared living room.
If two people move in and we live as a trio, the rent is approx. CHF 600.– per person. In terms of space, this works well, however, we would no longer have a separate living room.

About me: I am 28 years old and a social pedagogue and work in shift work. Because of this, I am sometimes at home a lot and then also away for longer periods.

In addition to me, my two cats live here. We only moved in here recently ourselves, which is why they are currently still indoor cats. They are uncomplicated and rather reserved – they mostly stay in my room and need some time until they trust new people.

For WG life, I primarily wish for open, tolerant and respectful people, where everyone can feel at home. We definitely do not have to be a WG that cooks together every evening and does everything together. But if a spontaneous shared dinner, a glass of wine, a game night or just sitting together happens, I would be happy. At the same time, each person should be able to have their own daily routine and personal space.

Regarding the topic of cleanliness, I am relatively uncomplicated: instead of a super strict cleaning plan, I would find it nice to find out together what works for us. Perhaps each person takes on the chores that they enjoy, and together we ensure that everyone feels comfortable in the apartment.

If you/you all feel that this could suit you, please write to me a bit about yourselves, your daily routine and what you wish for from a WG.

I am very much looking forward to your messages and am excited to see who I will be living with here soon.
