Room in a shared flat

We are looking for a person who would like to move into the steadily growing intergenerational community Aronia.

The available room (13m2 with sloped ceiling) on the 2nd floor faces southwest; the balcony and bathroom are located right next to it. The monthly rent is 630 CHF (utilities included). Currently, the laundry shed in the garden is available and could be rented additionally if extra space is needed.

We are 13 people between 3 and 69 years old and live in two houses with a large garden and a wide view over fields and forests. The RBS-Bahnhöfli is a stone's throw away (26 minutes by train to Bern). We often move around on foot, by bike, and by public transport; cars are available for shared use.

Among us are craftsmen, educators, computer nerds, foodies, musicians, and socially gifted people; some do theater or are interested in wildlife. Many of us are often at home, in the garden, in the workshop, renovating, in the home office, or on the racetrack with the 4 children. We are interested in a lively community where things are sometimes exuberant and emotional, and sometimes quiet and fine.

We are planning a new building and are looking for someone who has the time and desire to contribute and help shape things – in planning and construction as well as in daily life with everything that goes with it.
