Room in a shared flat

In our modern 4-room apartment in Birsfelden, an 11.5 m² room is becoming available. Move-in is possible immediately or by arrangement. The room is currently shown furnished in the photos, but will be rented unfurnished and handed over completely empty before move-in. The apartment has a total of approx. 88 m² and, in addition to the three bedrooms, offers plenty of shared living space. For shared use are a cozily furnished living room, a modern and fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom with a bathtub, a separate guest toilet, as well as an 8 m² balcony with a beautiful view. WLAN is also available. The communal rooms will remain furnished. Individual pieces of furniture will change in the coming months, but the living and dining area will remain fully furnished. About the WG I live in the apartment permanently myself and currently another roommate lives here. So you would initially move into a 3-person WG. My current roommate is moving out in autumn and his room will then be taken over by a new person, so the WG will remain a 3-person WG in the long term. I am a chemist and work full-time in the student laboratory at Roche. Therefore, I am mostly out of the house during the day during the week and occasionally do home office. At home, I like it cozy: I enjoy reading and painting, making music, going to the gym, meeting friends, or simply spending a quiet evening at home. Occasionally, friends also visit me. I do not wish for a purely functional WG, but neither do I have the expectation of constantly having to do something together. It would be nice to have a roommate in a similar life stage, with whom one enjoys chatting in the kitchen, doing something together, or spending a relaxed evening at home, while at the same time each person has her own daily routine and retreat space. Mutual consideration, open communication, and cleanliness are especially important to me. Leaving the kitchen tidy again after cooking and keeping the communal rooms maintained together should be a matter of course. I eat predominantly plant-based, but of course you do not have to live vegan.
