1 room apartment

I'm subletting my furnished room in the WOKO residence Camp Maximus, Eduard-Steiner-Strasse 7, Winterthur, from approximately 1 November until the end of January. The exact move-in date can be discussed and confirmed by arrangement. After the sublet ends, there may also be an opportunity to rent the room directly through WOKO, subject to WOKO's approval and availability.

The room is on the 4th floor and has a beautiful open view over the surrounding area. It's bright and spacious, with plenty of room for both sleeping and studying, and the room also has its own washbasin.
The location is particularly convenient for students. The ZHAW Health Sciences campus at Katharina-Sulzer-Platz is just across the street / around the corner, making the room especially attractive for students studying Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Midwifery, Health Promotion & Prevention, Medical Informatics and related programmes. Other ZHAW buildings around the Stadt-Mitte and Lagerplatz campus are also within easy walking distance.

Winterthur Hauptbahnhof is around 8–10 minutes away on foot, with fast direct trains reaching Zürich HB in around 20 minutes.

For everyday shopping, Migros, Coop, Denner and other supermarkets are around a 5-minute walk away, together with a 24-hour migrolino, which is especially convenient for late-night or Sunday shopping. The student gym is also only around an 8-minute walk away.

One of the advantages of this particular floor is that we are only 8 flatmates, compared with around 10–12 people on some of the other floors in Camp Maximus. This means the large shared kitchen, bathrooms and showers are generally less crowded. The current flatmates are friendly, respectful and clean, and the atmosphere in the flat is relaxed and pleasant.

The residence also offers laundry facilities, bicycle storage, a music room, elevator, internet and a large shared terrace. WOKO has also been responsive and reliable whenever repairs or maintenance have been needed.

Overall, it's a particularly convenient room for a student looking for very close access to ZHAW, a short walk to Winterthur station and shops, an easy connection to Zürich, fewer flatmates than on many other floors, and a spacious room with a great 4th-floor view.
