Room in a shared flat

We are looking for a new female or male flatmate for our spacious 4.5 room apartment with 125 m2 in Ittigen. The larger flatshare room with 15.6 m2 is being rented. The room is bright, quiet, and oriented towards the south side.
The apartment offers plenty of space and generous communal areas. The centerpiece is the very large living and dining area with a leather couch and 75 inch TV. In addition, there is a fully equipped kitchen with shared storage space, two bathrooms with shower and bathtub, a very large balcony, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, as well as a cellar and storage room for shared use.
The rent is CHF 850 per month. Included in this are all utility costs, electricity, internet, TV, as well as the use of the washing machine and the dryer including the associated costs. Thus, no separate costs for these services are added.
A parking space in the underground garage can be rented additionally for CHF 95 per month if required.
The apartment is located in a quiet residential area in Ittigen near Bern and is simultaneously well connected to public transport. The bus stop Ittigen, Aespliz is reachable in about 5 minutes on foot, the tram stop Papiermühle in around 10 minutes.

About us and our flatshare life
We are working professionals, uncomplicated, and do not wish for a purely functional flatshare. At the same time, of course, everyone should live their own daily life and have the opportunity to withdraw at any time. An enjoyable balance between community and personal space is important to us. Sometimes cooking together, having a drink, watching a film, or doing something spontaneously, but entirely without obligations.
Openness, mutual respect, empathy, and consideration are particularly important to us. Order and cleanliness in the shared rooms are also part of a pleasant and relaxed coexistence for us.

In our free time, our interests are diverse. These include salsa and other sporting activities, flying drones, SUP and swimming, excursions, traveling, reading, wellness, or simply cozy evenings at home.

Recently, two young male cats have also become part of our flatshare. 🐈🐈 They accordingly bring a bit more life to the apartment. Therefore, you should like cats and feel comfortable with two young animal roommates. 😊

Who we are looking for
Ideally, we are looking for an open, sympathetic, uncomplicated, and cheerful person between approx. 20 and 40 years old, who appreciates considerate coexistence and feels comfortable in a well-maintained and tidy apartment.
It is not important to us that you have exactly the same interests. Much more important is that there is a human connection, that we can communicate openly with each other, and that everyone feels at home in the flatshare.
